  • Study a Language of the Middle East!

    Are you interested in the cultures of the Middle East? Are you looking for a new linguistic challenge?

    A Self-Directed Language Acquisition Program started in Spring 2009. Choose to learn Farsi/Persian, modern Hebrew, or Turkish with the help of a language partner and both print and electronic resources. Develop skills that will help you whenever you encounter a new language.

Finals Week Schedule

It’s the end of the semester!  And that means extended hours in the Language Lab.

Because finals are scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, the Language Lab will remain open until these exams start.

The schedule for Finals Week is:

Saturday, April 25:  Closed
Sunday, April 26:  noon – midnight
Monday – Thursday:  9 a.m. – midnight
Friday, May 1:  9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday, May 2:  9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

The Language Laboratory has no regularly scheduled open hours from 7 p.m. May 2 to 9 a.m. August 24.  However, the Lab’s facilities are available by appointment.  Contact Sharon Scinicariello for more information.
