The Arab Spring and Africa

On September 28, 2011, Professor Walid Hamarneh of the Department of Modern Literatures and Cultures spoke about the events of the ‘Arab Spring’ and the impact of those events on the African continent.  Of course, change continues in North Africa:  in the past week, the government of Libya was overthrown and Tunisians held elections.  Whether or not you attended in September, now is a good time to hear Professor’s Hamarneh’s insights.
