What is FLEX?
It’s a collaborative for world language teachers in central Virginia. In order to share and support each other we regularly get together to share food & drink and ideas/lessons about what works in language teaching.
How can I get involved?
FLEX has a listserv; join it here or by sending e-mail to Kathryn Murphy-Judy through the FLEX Ning. The FLEX listserv sends you messages about upcoming FLEX meetings and language-related events in Central Virginia.
The FLEX Ning is a virtual FLEX meeting room with an events calendar, discussion forums, handouts from meetings, and places for you to share your own experiences in text, photos, and audio/video files. (The Ning seems to be blocked in some school environments.)
Come to FLEX meetings! Face-to-face meetings are held approximately every two months at various locations in Greater Richmond. We’d all love to come to your school, too.
